The field of personal injury
law is very broad. It falls within the area of law that we refer to
as tort law. Normally, personal injury claims result from the
negligence of an individual or company that results in another
person suffering injury or damages which can include bodily injury,
emotional distress, medical treatment, and lost income or impairment
of earning capacity. Sometimes these claims result in the death of
an individual and then the wrongful death claim is brought either by
the widow, children or the estate. Personal injury law includes
automobile accidents, medical malpractice, strict product liability,
and premises liability, such as injury due to hazardous conditions
on property and building premises.
Mr. Page’s goal when
handling a personal injury claim is to assist the client in various
ways to limit the amount of stress the client is undergoing so that
the client can attend to matters of treatment and healing. Mr. Page
will handle all contacts with the insurance carrier or defense
counsel. If vehicle damage has occurred, he will assist in resolving
the property damage claim. He will identify all potential insurance
sources to pay for your medical treatment and other damages. He will
assist, when necessary, in finding or recommending medical providers
who will treat the client’s physical or emotional injury. He will
assist in providing legal counseling concerning health insurance
issues and, when necessary, will handle any or all health lien
issues that may arise. In short, Mr. Page and his staff will
professionally oversee and deal with any and all issues that arise
relating to your personal injury claim.
Because personal injury claims normally arise as a result of a
person’s or company’s negligence, they can arise from all sorts of
different scenarios. They frequently involve vehicular collisions of
automobiles, trucks, commercial vehicles, motorcycles or
pedestrians. They can occur both on and off the job or while at
play. They can occur due to hazardous conditions on a construction
site or commercial building, or as a result of defective products or
machines of any kind. Medical malpractice is a specific type of
personal injury.
